NORCECA Tour in Punta Cana
SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico, October 13, 2026.- Puerto Rico’s top
beach volleyball teams will compete from October 22 to 26 in
Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, at the eighth stop of the
NORCECA Beach Volleyball Tour, their final international
competition before the highly anticipated qualifying tournament
for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games, scheduled for November 4
to 9 at the Areia Sports Complex in Vega Baja, Puerto Rico.
The Punta Cana event represents a key opportunity for the
national teams to continue fine-tuning their technical and
competitive performance against some of the region’s top beach
volleyball pairs ahead of the important qualifying event on home
soil.
In the women’s competition, Puerto Rico will be represented by
Alanis Navas and Keishlyann Enid Sánchez Viera, coached by Ramón
Peña, as they look to strengthen their competitive level before
the Olympic qualifier.

coach Juan Carlos Ribas Pardo.
The NORCECA Beach Volleyball Olympic Qualifier in Vega Baja will
bring together the region’s top teams as they compete to advance
along the qualification pathway to the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic
Games, making it one of the most significant events Puerto Rico
will host during the Olympic cycle.
The Puerto Rican Volleyball Federation encourages fans to
support the national teams during their participation in the
Dominican Republic and later attend the competition at the Areia
Sports Complex, where Puerto Rico will look to make the most of
its home-court advantage and continue its journey toward the
world’s biggest sporting event.
