Dominican Adames elected MVP of Men’s NORCECA-C

Dominican Republic beat Haiti for top place

SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic, November 4, 2012 – The Dominican Republic defeated Haiti 25-14, 25-16, 25-21 on Sunday night to finish with an unbeaten 4-0 win-loss record at the NORCECA-C First Round Tournament of the 2014 FIVB Men’s World Championship. Guadeloupe qualify to NORCECA’s second round

SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic, November 4, 2012 – Guadeloupe defeated U.S. Virgin Islands in straight sets (25-23, 25-10, 25-20) in the third place match of the NORCECA-C First Round Tournament of the 2014 FIVB Men’s World Championship on Sunday night. Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, November 3, 2012 – Dominican Republic defeated Haiti in straight sets (25-15, 25-17, 25-15) to remain undefeated in the NORCECA-C First Round Tournament of the 2014 FIVB Men’s World Championship. The Dominicans scored an early win over Guadeloupe on Saturday morning and have now a 2-0 win-loss mark while Haiti fell to 1-1. Guadeloupe edge U.S. Virgin Islands

SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic, November 3, 2012 – Guadeloupe overcame U.S. Virgin Islands in a thrilling five-set battle (19-25, 25-17, 34-32, 20-25, 15-11) to equalize their win-loss record at 1-1 in the NORCECA-C First Round Tournament of the 2014 FIVB Men’s World Championship on Saturday evening. Loic Couchy was the best scorer of Guadeloupe with 19 points followed by Heindrik Perot and Ludovic Baltyde with 13 and 11 respectively. Jelani Richards had a match-high 20 points for U.S. Virgin Islands while Shimoi Van Holten and Anthony Pippen finished with 16 and 10. More  Español

Dominican Republic subdue Guadeloupe

SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic, November 3, 2012 – The Dominican Republic cruised to a straight-set victory (25-12, 25-14, 25-10) over Guadeloupe in the first match of the NORCECA-C First Round Tournament of the 2014 Men’s FIVB World Championship on Saturday. The more experienced Dominicans relied on their stronger serves and overall skills to subdue the opposition.
