Seven territories admitted in NORCECA as full members
	ANTIGUA, Guatemala, October 26, 2009 – The admission of seven Caribbean territories as new full members of the organization was decided during the last session of the XX Congress of NORCECA Volleyball Confederation. From now on, the territories of Saba, Bonaire, St. Eustatius, Dutch Saint Marteen, French Saint Martin, Martinique and Guadeloupe will have voice and vote rights within NORCECA and their teams can take part in the zonal and continental competitions, a long awaited aspiration. 	NORCECA establishes Eugenio George Laffita Award
	ANTIGUA, Guatemala, October 24, 2009 – The XX Congress of NORCECA Confederation approved on Saturday to create the Eugenio George Laffita Trophy to be presented the most outstanding coach of the NORCECA Women’s Continental Championship.    The proposal was submitted by the President of NORCECA, Mr. Cristobal Marte Hoffiz, and approved by the assembly by acclamation. George Laffita, who was present in the meeting as president of the Technical and Coaches Commission, was grateful on the distinction. 	Castro Verdugo and Mushtaque elected to FIVB Board of Administration
	ANTIGUA, Guatemala, October 24, 2009 – Mexican Saul Castro Verdugo and Trinidadian Mushtaque Mohammed were elected by the XX NORCECA Congress to fill the vacancies of the organization in the FIVB Board of Administration.   The candidature of both sport leaders was submitted by the Executive Committee of NORCECA and received the unanimous vote of the assembly. 	Seven countries recognized in NORCECA Congress for teams achievements

	Wei attends meeting of Pan American Union

	Wei declared Ambassador of Peace in Guatemala
